Comes off a win at six and a half furlongs at TUP where he has been racing for his last two races.  The win was in the Coyote Handicap for a purse of $35.000.  Prior to that he was on the sod against Allowance company where he finished second in a dead heat.  In November 2014 at PM he won the Stallion Stakes for a purse of $21.000 going six furlongs.  Definitely likes the distance, and is stepping up a bit here.

Last win came from December 2014 at FL in an Allowance Non Winners of 4 Lifetime for a purse of $17.600.  After this race he was in a NY Bred Stakes race where he ran third.  After that race he was in the HOU Sprint for a prize $50.000 where he finished second.  Most recently finished fourth in an open Allowance.  Getting back to NY Breds should assist him landing on the board.

Purchased in the March auction for $15.000 and makes his debut for this writer.  Ran off the board in his last race last August in the Jersey Shore a Grade III event.  Owner Iwin Enterprise has given him 8 months off, and hopes that the time off will get him to rebound for today’s race.

4   Honor King                       Owner: Hambletonian Stable             Ortiz J L               

Won an open Allowance two back at PRX.  Ran off the board at PIM in April in an Allowance for a purse of $49.000.  At the beginning of the year he won the Hughes stakes at AQU.  Dropping back in against NY breds is a good idea for these connections.  Looks alive here!

5   Saxaphone                         Owner: Wynnewood                              Ortiz I Jr

Recently won the Ogataul Stakes in March at FON.  Two back from there he won an open allowance at PRX, but that was in August of 2014.  I do think that the drop into NY Breds should help him, but there are better here.

6   Cats Hope                          Owner: Maxmillion Farm                     Velasquez C H

Coming off two consecutive wins.  Last race was against Optional Claimers $25.000 Non Winners of 2 races.  He finished in a dead heat for the win here.  Prior to that race he ran against NY Breds in an Optional Claimer $25.000 Non Winners of 2 races where he won by a head.  Each race was at 5 furlongs, and 5 ½ furlongs.  He will have to stretch out a bit to get it done today.

7   Burnt Offering               Owner: Night Rider Stables                    Franco M

Claimed in November 2014 for $15.000.  Made his debut for his new owner in January at AQU in a $15.000 Claimer at AQU where he won by a length.  Then he went on to race against $20.000 Claimers against NY Breds.  He is make a big step up here, but likes to stalk the pace.  He will need a hot pace to develop, but there really isn’t a lot of speed here.
