Freakshow’s brilliant three-year-old filly did it again in the FL Oaks. Sinister City has won coming off the pace and stalking the lead. This time she ran mid-pack for the first half of the race, then closed within a length and finally took the lead the head of the stretch when she made a move toward the leaders and ran past them with a furlong to go. She kept her win streak going, extending it to four.

Complete order of finish:

1 Sinister City (The Freakshow) Mid-pack until the head of the stretch, moved to the lead with a furlong to run.

2 Spice Run (Alydar Stables) Stalked the pace but couldn’t keep up with Sinister City and settled for second.

3 Poetic Panther (Maletto) Led at every call but the last and finished third by three.

4 Deaf Luna (Asgar) Never involved.

5 Even Flow (Big Guns Stables) Never involved.

6 Big Dumpling (Night Rider Stables) Last throughout, managed to beat one to finish sixth.

7 All The Way Up (South Beach Racing) Stalked the pace throughout but faded badly in the stretch.

Sinister City, The Freakshow’s homebred, is by Creepy Rene out of Sin City Shower (Phooeys Ideal). The win was her fifth in eight starts and extends her win streak to four. Her career earnings stand at $287.400. Congratulations to Sinister City and The Freakshow!
