$100.000 3yoF 6f Dirt 122lbs +penalties
SoFla and the sophomore fillies are set to go sprinting in the Any Limit, a six-furlong dash on the main track, and talk about wide open. When these types of races pop up, I’m usually look for Mb Stables, as they just keep on winning, so Tactfully gets my nod today. She looked good beating State-bred Alw horses here last out, and I’ll take her today, as well. Like I said, it’s anyone’s race to win, so let’s see how this one plays out.
Here’s The Field –

Apache Farm | Riggins Racing | Ortiz I Jr | 122 | 5/1 |
Only a single win, but she was second in the Schuylerville (GIII) and the Sorority (GII), then was third in the Spinaway (GI) before a poor performance in the BC Juv F (GI). You know what that means… time to sell, so the new barn takes over, she tires badly in the Forward Gal (GIII) over this surface. I’m not sure what to expect today – her best, she rolls.

Toc Black Witch | Supremebeast | Lopez P | 122 | 6/1 |
Lightly raced, this being her fourth start, and she’s won two of two of three, including a quick win vs $25.000 claimers over this tracked in her most recent. Both of her wins were vs. FLA-bred types, so this is an obvious tougher group… can she keep it going?
|
Abcde | Royalty Stables | Zayas E J | 122 | 4/1 |
She really hasn’t run a bad race… even that fifth was vs. win, types at WO where she showed good early speed, and that is her MO, speed. She had a clear lead last out, facing OptAlw types at SA, only to get weary late and end up second beaten a quarter length. The Gree Card likes her.
|
Tactfully | Mb Stables | Gonzalez Al | 122 | 7/2 |
Looked good taking down FLA-bred Alw horses in her most recent, and she’s been close in a number of other FLA and open stakes races. The big barn never comes just to see how the weather is… they are here to win, and I think she has a big, big chance to do just that.
|
Cinque Verde | Night Rider Stables | Wilson E J | 122 | 5/1 |
Tagged from a $20.000 claimer at TAM where she was second beaten a whisker, and she won over that track breaking maiden, prior to that. She’s never really run a bad race, never worse that fourth, and the new barn goes right after it here today.

Spoken | Fractious | Ruiz Jo | 122 | 7/2 |
She certainly deserves a lot of attention, showing three wins from seven starts, including back-to-back wins beating Alw types at PID in the mud and at WO in the slop. If it rains, I’d be putting the focus on her, that’s for sure… but even if it’s dry, she should be in the mix.
