1 Mile Dirt Stake Purse $100.000 Open 3 Year Olds And Up.

1st Phelps, trained by Mb Stables
Stalking the lead this five year old proved too strong at the business end
of the race running home a powerful three quarter length winner. This was a
nice return to form for the son of Whats Up who is closing in on the thousand
dollar in winnings mark.

2nd Engine Failure, trained by Mb Stables
Ran right alongside his stablemate for most of the race but when the whips
came out he just wasnt strong enough to out finish Phelps. This was a decent
effort against his elders though and his future still holds plenty of good
purses.

3rd Th Watcher, trained by Harrell Racing
Kept on well enough for third and ran his race out pretty well. I think this
is about his mark and he should find a little black type race this season.

4th Arrest, trained by D J C Racing Stables
Whacked away in fourth but never looked dangerous.

5th Chrystal Wizard
Was struck down by the wide gate speed push going into the lead early on but
weakening late on.

6th Sonicker
Never in it
