This filly that has been brought to the boil perfectly by her trainer making it three in a row with a commanding win here, pouncing from the stalk and driving clear. A good three-year-old she had been a runner up at grade one but recognizing the timing of how when they turn four, they can plateau a little she has been paced nicely for this return to black type. I think there is more to be had by this four-year-old and she must go down as one that may find her feet as the summer turns to autumn.

2nd American Sky Iolaus Racing Talamo J

She went back a bit off only a steady pace which was a poor decision by the AI as she only got going when the winner had the race won. She ran nicely into second backing up her improved effort from the Apple Blossom last time and with her consistent form I am sure she will put some black type by her name soon.

3rd = Feliz Cumpleanos Maxmillion Farm Gaffalione T

Had a good enough position but just didn’t quicken like the first two. This was her third run in a row where she was a little flat and I wonder whether it is worth putting her away until she starts to get back on the improvement curve.

3rd = Lady Sammyantha The Sidley Stud Geroux F

Made the running at just an average pace and failed to see the trip out. A return to sprinting may be in the cards.
