Still looking for her first victory of the 2016 season but she has been close a few times including that last-out runner-up finish in the Campanile on the GG turf.  She did most of the heavy lifting that day and was caught on the wire, getting beat by a length.  She seems to fit well and should make a decent run at them in this one as well.

The grey has been facing some of the best horses in the land and has done well for herself, thus the 6 pound impost from that win in the Santa Ysabel (GIII) at SA, back in March.  Has closed well in both of her recent starts, only beaten a length in the SA Oaks (GI) and closed late to be three lengths back while ninth in the KY Oaks (GI).  This is certainly softer than that, so I think we may have a spot to get the job done… perhaps with ease.

Broke maiden at PRX in her most recent and got the job done on race number four.  Turf seems to be her better surface and she looks like a decent enough horse, but this is going straight to the deep end of the pool.  I’ll pass but she may surprise me.

Had back to back wins at GG to kick-off the ’16 season and had a nice third v. graded company in the Providencia (GIII) over the SoCal turf.  It seems like her best racing has been done on wet grass, so you may see the barn doing a rain dance prior to the start of this one.  She should still be around for a part.

Beat up on N1X Alw horses at PRX in her most recent where she got the job done by four lengths and looked like she could have gone another lap without breaking a sweat.  She’s been on the board in four of five grass starts, so this is nothing new to her… give her a look for a small portion here today.
