Wow, 67 races spanning a career of six years, six BC appearances and one famous win in the BC Fillies And Mares Turf, 23 wins and nearly $5,000.000 in prize money, this great mare just keeps going and must be knocking on the door to be one of the games great race mares. If her last two races are anything to go by, she is better than ever and who would write off a seventh BC appearance and a second championship. Today she absolutely cantered home, a class above her rivals as she strode three lengths clear to the line, the onlookers were left in awe.

2nd Ginger Lucy The Sidley Stud Dettori L

What a great one two for The Sidley Stud although it must be said I wasn’t sure how the odds monkeys had this one as favorite. She raced on the speed and had the advantage for a fair part of the race before her stable mate waved goodbye down the stretch. This was a big effort over a trip that I thought would be too far and she looks an ideal running partner for Maggie Greene.

3rd Sin City Girlz Czech Out Farms Ortiz J L

Ran right on the speed with Ginger Lucy but never asserted and had to settle for third in the end. She really stuck on well and this was another great effort from a mare that the stable claimed for just $7.500.

4th Lady Hilltopper Black N Gold Stable Rispoli U

Well, there are two choices from the wide gate, back or forward and today she chose back which has been her preferred style of running for a while. She made some ground for fourth but found less than I thought she would but let’s face it, the car park draw can be a death note for some and she has now had it twice in a row.
