$200.000
1 1/8 Mile Turf at SA

Halloween Candy broke her maiden last out in graded company and she is the only graded winner in this field. The question is, can she repeat that performance in her the first turf start of her career?

1 Triptych
Owner/Breeder: Blushing Meadows

With only four starts, this filly is the least experienced in the field. But in those four starts, she’s only finished off the board once, and that was in her debut. Last out she finished 3rd, less than a length back, in the $65.000 Keertana at 1 ½ mile. Will have to step it up to compete here.

2 Lime Dancer
Owner/Breeder: Drabfantasy

Always a bride’s maid is the story for this filly lately. She finished second in three of her last four starts. This is her first try at graded company and she has her work cut out for her here.

3 Halloween Candy
Owner/Breeder: Harrell Racing

This filly broke her maiden the hard way. With just four starts, she has managed to earn $115.300, largely thanks to her winning effort and maiden win last out in the ABC Distaff against older. Experience could be a factor here, but if she can duplicate that performance in her first turf start, she will be tough.

4 Ghost Runner
Owner/Breeder: Pumpkin Racing

This filly’s best effort came last out in the G1 Gamely here at SA where she earned a 99 SRF to finish 3rd by a length at 1 1/8 mile. She is a veteran of graded stakes but is yet to win at that level. This could be the one.

5 Pip Irish
Owner/Breeder: Chili King Stables

Coming off a win in state-bred allowance company here at SA. Never a winner beyond 6 ½ furlongs, this filly will have to prove she can go the distance here.
