What a great field of sprinters we have set to go seven furlongs on the SA main track Saturday, and we look at the lot for the 2016 Triple Bend Stakes (GI).  I’m really torn on where to go in this one but I’m giving the slight edge to Moon Landing here today.  He looked so good winning the CD (GII) on KYD day but the push for me is that win over this surface in the San Carlos (GII) back in Mar.  A repeat of either one of those races will make him tough to get past.

I know he’s a 7yo now, but I think any time Hallelujah lines up in the gate, you have to give him a serious look.  He just missed to the top choice in that CD (GII) race and won the Commonwealth (GIII) at KEE prior to that.  The barn picks there spots for him and run him when he’s right… back to back bullet works here say HE’S READY!

There’s probably a hand full you could put in the thick of this but I’ll drop Roxys Triple Crown into the third spot today.  He’s been move of a mile plus type of a horse lately, but won at the distance in Oct when he took the Bold Ruler (GIII) at BEL in a pretty fast time.  The ability to carry his speed a longer distance could be a handy little tool here today.
