  2   WO    La Prevoyante Stakes     

$100.000   3yo&Up F&M – Foaled in ON      1 1/16m  Dirt      3yo 120lbs  Older 123 +penalties

Bundle up, as we go north of the border for a nice group of six On-bred ladies, set to go a mile and a sixteenth on the main track in the La Prevoyante Stakes.  At first glance, this looks like a two-horse race to me and I’ll take Starving Artist as the top pick.  She’s been off of the board one time in her career, hasn’t missed all of ’23 and she has a win and two seconds over this surface during this race season, two of those races were at today’s distance.  Another that certainly deserves a deep dive is Villeneuve… she’s runs with some of the best there is and held her own as the runner-up in the Gamely (GI) and Yellow Ribbon (GII)… if there is any questions, it’s her main-track ability.  She hasn’t started on the dirt since last Dec, but that’s my only questions because she is a heck of a race mare.
