The La Prevoyante Stakes was a story of speed and a photo finish… in the end, Confederate Warrior, owned by Paradise Stable, set the pace, was headed in the lane, then fought back determinedly to take a four-horse-photo and the victory.  The final running time was 1:41.90 over the fast WO main track.  Turning Red, the post-time favorite, stalked throughout, made it interesting late but just missed, taking the second spot by a nose over Starving Artist, that one taking a short lead in the lane, only to get out-finished for bigger money.  55/1 shot Villenueve closed a late gap to be in the Kodak moment but was the minor money recipient.  Three lengths covered the field.
