6 FG Wright Memorial

Welcome back… a new year, new hopes and dreams. We catch a nice field of six LA-bred females set to sprint six panels over the main surface in the Wright Memorial. As is often the case in these State bred stakes, this s a wide-open race and it would be easy to go in any number of directions. I like Glitter Bright for the top pick… she was third at the distance vs. similar in the Herbert Mem back in Nov. and although she was last of four, and beaten by a couple of these last out, that mile and a sixteenth distance isn’t her ball of wax, IMHO. I think she flips the script and makes noise in this race. Holy Reception won the Hebert Mem and certainly deserves a big look. She just missed last out in the Rosewater at DED, also facing Bayou-bred ladies. At Risk was off for seven months and ran a big race in the LCD Ladies Sprint, so keep an eye on her, as well.
