On High Alert and Viking Tiz flashed past the wire together for a dead heat in The Carry Back with On High Alert taking up the lead in the home stretch only to be caught on the wire by the running on Viking Tiz.

On High Alert and Viking Tiz dead heated for first place, On High Alert stalked the leaders three lengths off the pace then made headway to take the lead in the home stretch only to be caught on the wire by Viking Tiz for a dead heat with Green Letter a further length back in third. The winners are owned by Mb Stables (On High Alert) and Delta Farms (Viking Tiz).

How they ran.
On High Alert settled three lengths off the pace then made headway taking up the lead in the home stretch only to be caught on the wire to dead heat.
Viking Tiz settled next to the rear of the field four lengths off the pace then ran on strongly down the home stretch getting up on the wire for a share of the spoils.
Green Letter broke in second and eased back into fourth then ran on at one pace getting up to finish third.
Air Show broke in third then improved position to race in second no extra in the final furlong dropping back to finish fourth.
Ferro settled and raced at the back of the runners stayed on at one pace passing the beaten Got The Goods to finish fifth.
Got The Goods broke in first to lead the field by two lengths passed in the home stretch staying on at one pace being passed by all the runners to finish last of the six runners beaten by the winners by five lengths.
