It never rains in California… well, it did today, and I think it’s safe to say that Untidy likes it wet. Making her second wet track start, the other being on soggy sod, the Mb Stables conditioned filly closed like a freight train to get home in front by a length, taking the La Canada Stakes (GIII), stopping the timer at 1:451 for the mile and a sixteenth, and the main SA oval was listed as Muddy. Kalthoff Repeater was forwardly placed throughout, but just couldn’t go on with the eventual winner late, while taking the second spot by a quarter length over Eye Patch, that one leading the way into the lane, then another quarter length to Lar Roo, taking the minor money. Twelve lengths covered the field.
