Settled fourth and found the gaps at the right time diving in the last strides for a nose win. Sure enough as expected the draw was key in allowing her to stay closer than she has recently, and her trademark late finish was just good enough. Looking at the way she races you would have to think that she will stay further and there will be more to come from this home bred.

2nd Dream Chaser Fractious Saez G

Used the wide gate to get the lead but was just collared in the shadows of the post. This was a brave effort by the free track maiden winner who certainly has a bright future.

3rd Hawaiian Blaze Fractious Beschizza A

Stalked the leader as you would expect but just whacked away down the stretch and never looked like overhauling her stable mate.

4th Marquesa Threshold Jimenez A

Kept on well enough for fourth but certainly needed this outing after a while off the track. That didn’t stop the odds monkeys making her favorite though which was about as predictable as the result.
