Senior Sprinters Head to the Post for GP Sprint Championship

2/24/24

6  GP    The GP Sprint Championship

$125.000   4yo&Up   6f Dirt    124lbs + penalties

A surprisingly small field for a prestigious sprint race… you don’t see that often.  But we have a six-pack of speedsters set to go six panels in The GP Sprint Championship and this is an interesting group, for sure.  I landed on the inside post and took Judge as the top selection.  He had three wins last season and kicked-off ’24 with a narrow defeat in a stakes at SUN, at today’s distance.  He’s all about speed, had class and always seems to be around, and that may be enough here.  I’ll give Neo a big chance today, as well… he comes in with a back-to-back wins at the OptAlw level, but also won four of nine starts last season, with a trio of thirds including the Vanderbilt (GI) at SAR.

Even weights, so nothing to talk about there… it shapes up to be a good one.
