Big stables, big horses, big money… they go together like peas and carrots.  It’s not Alabama, but we head down to Arkansas and OP for The Fantasy (GIII), a mile and a sixteenth test for the sophomore ladies, and with a $750.000 purse, it’s put some very nice gals in the starting gate.  To me, Nazca Lines just hasn’t done anything wrong in her career, and I’ll give her the top spot in this one.  Three consecutive wins including the Forward Gal (GIII) and Davona Dale (GII), both at GP, sure makes her tough to go past.  They could have stayed in FLA and taken on the GP Oaks field but opt for the bigger (MUCH bigger) payday here, despite the GII/GIII difference.  Speaking of home cookin’, Let Me Explain has two starts over this surface, and will be my second choice today.  She ran fairly well vs. the boys in the Southwest (GIII), and this ain’t the olden’ days when it was commonplace… she backed that up with a win in the Honeybee (GIII), so I look for more of the same and another big effort here.
