Winning Link Stables really has Beach Towel on her toes, right about now… and with the KYO on the horizon, it’s a REAL good time for that to be the case.  Content to let the pace burns itself out, the black filly stalked, pounced and then held off the late charge of Plenty Of Profit to take the GP Oaks (GII) by a neck, stopping the timer at 1:41.76 for the mile and a sixteenth, stamping her ticket to Louisville in the process.  Plenty Of Profit was closing fast but just ran out of racetrack, settling for the second spot, a quarter length better than Hobo Blues in third, then another three-quarters of a length to Agapova taking the minor share.  Five lengths covered the field of twelve.
