Dogs Dragon Out-Sprints Them at PARX

PARX Sprint – Grade III
5 Furlongs Turf Stake Purse $200.000 Open 3 Year Olds And Up.

1st Dogs Dragon, trained by Maxmillion Farm
This four year old underlined the improvement he has made since being switched back
to sprinting with another speedy performance. Close to the fast early pace he took it
up into the stretch and looked too strong in the run to the line. He looks on track for
the BC Turf Sprint where he ran a close third last year and i suspect he will be a strong
fancy again this year.

2nd Tragedy, trained by Spankys Barn
This horse brought me closer to resigning from HRP than i have ever been before. Taking
nothing away from his super run or the excellent decision taken to enter him there is no
way the weight allowance shouldve been enough for him to win this race….but it very
nearly was and that is scary. He could turn out to be a BC champion, the best sprinter
the site has ever seen but with only average runs in the lead up to this race i just couldnt
see a few pounds making the difference. As it was he was finishing very strongly and deserves
plenty of credit for a career best run.

3rd Frodomoto, trained by Mb Stables
As expected he was outpaced early and finished well to be a close third. This was always the
danger over this minimum trip and with an extra furlong he may well have won.

4th Go For Six, trained by Yankee Doodle Stable
Beaten less than a length he too ran a career best effort. The easy ground may have favoured
him so you have to take this performance with a pinch of salt but he saw it out well and looks
above average.
