 What a shame…  RL, Firm… here, Soft.  Why?  So, a third of the field is scratched from the Arlington Stakes (GIII) and the money grab is just too obvious to ignore.  Meanwhile on the track, Grmley scores a nice win as Absolutely Grande, dismissed at 11/1 odds, stays close to the pace, moves up to take over at will and pulls away to score by two.  The final running time was 1:43.80 for the mile and a sixteenth on the faux soft going.  Details Matter, the .25/1 favorite tried to close the gap but just didn’t have an answer for the eventual winner, taking the second spot by six lengths over Cage Rage, then another four to Drone Strike.  Twelve lengths covered the field.
