Crowd Pleaser Brings PA-Breds to PRX Turf

Monday stakes action and we head to the Keystone State and PRX for the Crowd Pleaser, which has drawn a six-pack of sophomore state-bred sod specialists, set to go a mile and a sixteenth.  Both the Green Card and I see it the same but inverted, so that makes the talk easy.  I’m on New York Thunder, and this gelding is undefeated in two trips to the gate.  He beat freebies at PEN but came back to rock-out by two vs. PA-bred Alw types, and he could be any type of horse.  I’ll put Snow Commanding in the second spot, off of that three-race win streak… and The Card say he’s the one today.  He’s game, taking down two PA-bred Alw races at PEN, then winning vs. open horses over this course, all of those at five furlongs.  That is my only question with him – will he like the distance… today, we find out.
