I don’t know if I was more surprised that there were no DH’s or that Wahpekute Sioux was more than 12/1 odds!!  Either way, there was no DH, The Green Card hands out a nice $83.70 exacta, as cold as the other side of the pillow, and Mb Stables puts another big check in the bank as his 4yo colt makes it a wire-to-wire win in the Foster (GI).  He traveled the mile and an eighth in a very quick 1:46.98 over the fast main CD oval, and this one looked to be over a few strides after they left the gate.  The final margin was three-quarters of a length, but it looked like more than that to me… still, Luz International collects the second spot as Angle Of Attack closes late to nab the place, a neck better than Riggins Racing’s Lets Celebrate in third, just a hair better than the winner’s stablemate, Jacks Courage securing the minor reward.  A mere six lengths covered the field of fourteen
