Mb Stables hadn’t won the Cornhusker Hcp (GIII) since 2018…  check, another win, a new track record (because that’s the kinda day it was) and the Tehran backers that took the even money favorite were rewarded as he scores by a neck, stopping the timer at 1:46.95 for the mile and an eighth.  Chagrin Falls was close-up throughout, was closing in on the eventual winner, but the Mo Mentum Farm owned gelding took the second spot by three-quarters of a length over Maxmillion Farm’s Dont Ever Try It, a 58/1 outsider.  Another neck, Pan Farms Pennine Way was fourth.  Seven lengths covered the field of eight.
