The Texas Breeders Go Head To Head at LS

1 Thirty Eight Special Luz International Elliott S 118 —

The breeders of Texas get a chance to show off their best here and this trainer sends three fillies to the fight. With a decent pre-race work, this one ran a great debut when second by a half and the backed that up with a game nose win on the same track. It is hard to say how much she has improved as we can only see her pre-race work but with the usual improvement, she will surely be very competitive in this.

2 Newry Campaign T Boy Racing Landeros C 118 —

This one was beaten a nose by Thirty Eight Special in a maiden over course and distance last time, but you would expect her to improve more as she went into that race without a run. She showed early pace and fought on really well in that debut run and that must give her the edge over Thirty Eight Special in this her second start.

3 Princess Meghan Blue Ridge Racing Eramia R E 118 —

Always good to see an unbeaten one and this home bred is two from two. She had worked really well pre-race and did the job nicely at FE in her last start winning both that race and her debut maiden with authority.

4 Mamas Fallen Angel Luz International Cabrera D 118 —

Another unbeaten filly, although she has only raced once that win came on this track and followed some strong pre-race works. She has been given plenty of time to get over that race and I would say has the edge on at least one or even both of her stable mates.

5 All We Are Luz International Alvarez J L 118 —

Ran well on debut and backed that up with a dominant maiden win on this track in her second start. Another that worked well pre-race, I think she may turn out to be the best of the three stable mates.

SUMMARY

A hard race to handicap with so little to go on. I think All We Are is the best of the Luz runners and may well be too strong for them all here. I think Princess Meghan is the main danger with Newry Campaign next, but I would be boxing up that trifecta as it is hard to work out which one will come out on top.
