1st Enshrined, trained by Mb Stables
At the start of the season this gelding was running in low level claimers but after
changing hands and ending up with Mb Stables he turned into a Derby winner today.
Stalking early he went to the front around halfway and never really looked like
getting beat after that. He is now three from three for his new owner who looks
once again to have worked his magic with an ordinary looking claimer.

2nd Game Theory, trained by Royalty Racing
Another that was on a sequence of wins he looked to have the edge on form and work times
but although he chased the winner home with determination he never looked like
getting past him. Further off the pace than he usually is today he clearly has the
ability to win a similar race and i would take a serious look at him next time out.

3rd Marshal Berthier, trained by Night Rider Stables
Claimed for twenty dollars in his last start he was very predictably thrown into the lead
from the wide gate and very predictably weakened to allow the closers past. This was a
super effort in his first black type and i am pretty sure he wont be in claimers again
for a long time.

4th Bright castle, trained by John Henry
The first home of the proven stakes horses he was beaten a long way and his new trainer
may have to go back to the drawing board to get him back to the sort of form that saw him
as an early season KYD contender.
