1 RP The OK Derby (GIII) 
$400.000 3yo 1 1/8m Dirt 122lbs
Sherry was a waitress at the only joint in town, She had a reputation as a girl who’d been around… The Derby Road goes on forever, but the party never ends, or so REK would probably tell us. OK City and RP is the landing spot for this one, the OK Derby (GIII) and a $400.000 purse. How about a rematch of the KYD winner and runner-up as Bad Debt and Poison Arrow show up for this event! Tough times for both as Bad Debt hasn’t won since and changed hands, while Poison Arrow was last in his most recent trip to the gate in the Travers (GI).
I’m taking Gaslight as the top selection, and here is another that hasn’t won since Mary, scoring in the Peter Pan (GIII) at AQU. He’s been close in the IND Derby (GIII) and WV Derby (GIII) and just missed last out in the Albany, facing NY-types at SAR. I just think he moves it up a notch today and gets it done.
I’ll go to the far outside and take Jameson in the second spot. that one won the Albany, last out, and is another that is always close… he doesn’t have the resume’ of some, but he’s consistent and shows good form right now, and now is what matters.
