Looks like we picked this one upside down and inside out… content to stalk the pace from between foes, Oh Brother, conditioned by Spankys Barn, moved up mid-way on the turn, split horses with two furlongs left to run, and went under the wire clear by a widening length to take the City of Hope Mile (GII), stamping his ticket to Del Mar next month. Sioux Arrival closed well in the late stages to nab the runner-up spot, a half length better than another closer, Americas Hope. Snakie You edged out the minor money in a cavalry charge finish. The final running time was 1:32.23 over the firm SA turf and only six lengths covered the field. King Z was a late scratch.
