$1,250.000 3yo&Up 1m Turf 3yo 121lbs Older 124lbs
The big weekend of stakes action continues here in Lexington, and we look at the field for The Shadwell Turf Mile (GI), another race with BC ramifications. I often say that it’s a “wide open race”, but this one certainly earns that title. I’m looking for Winned to keep his hot hand going… the move to the lawn certainly woke this one back up, and he’s two-for-tow on the green stuff. He had a win here back in the spring, on the main track, so I’m not sure how that equates to this. Still, he’s very hot and I’ll stay with him today. I’ll follow The Card and give Buffalo G a bit look today. He just missed in the field at KD, and missed by the narrowest of margins in the Tapit. Could this be a spot for him to get a big win? It certainly looks like he should be considered. Again, this looks like a tough one, so grab a frosty and let’s get down to the rail to take in what should be a great race.
