We stay in Lexington to bring bonus coverage of the Jessamine (GII), an mile and a sixteenth turf test for the freshman fillies and a breath of fresh air as Drinkster McNasty won’t be throwing rocks today.  I usually stay away from handicapping these, as I’m not usually very good at it, but Lucille looks tough to go past, if she can repeat that field race at KD, where she pulled away late to score by three-quarters of a length.  That was her first trip on the green stuff, and she responded to take home a big purse, that afternoon.  The Card landed on Katy Bo, and who bets against the big barn in these types of races?  Fools with no money!  They also like Houseofidentity, that one showing two wins and a couple of solid on-the-board efforts vs. graded types, so yeah, you can see her class and ability.  BC points on the line, so you know they will be bringing it.
