Some odd looking races today, but I think we can put to rest all of the “closers can’t win” jazz… this one went right according to the script as Nakamura Stables‘ Soliloquy Sunset comes from off of the pace, edges clear into the lane and holds off all late challenges… she stays undefeated, winning The Frizette (GI) by a head while stopping the timer at 1:35.63 over the Fast main oval, here at AQU.  Just a head back, the fast-closing Twizted Tea, from the Asgar outfit, ran a big race and ended a half-length better than Fractious’ Luminous Gold in third.  Another half length, Mb Stables’ Chemistry Crackle took home the minor share.  A mere six lengths covered the field, showing just how tight this group of two-year-old-filles are… it’s going to be interesting to see how the BC races play out.
