5 KEE Station (GIII)
$600.000 3YO 1m Turf 122lbs
It was get out of town day at The. Greatest. Place. On. Earth. and why would it be any different than most other days when huge stakes purses are on the line? Just look to Mb… and so it was, as Mb Stables’ Charlie Jace kept his hot hand going, taking Saturday’s Bryan Station Stakes (GIII), covering the flat mile in 1:32.64 over the firm KEE sod. This was his third win, the other race being a nose-back second, since being purchased at the June 2024 Auction, for $275.000. Knorth Kinght tried to make a race out of it, finishing second, just a neck back of the winner. I was another three-quarters of a length to pace-setter Dime Fall in third, then another length back to the winner’s stable-mate, Prickly ended in a dead head with Back Class, in fourth. Five lengths covered the file of nine.
