Right out of the BC races and we head to Gotham City for a weekend of stakes, this one, a marathon route for the boys, The Smith (GII) will be a mile and three-eighths inner turf test.  All older gents  in this one, so don’t worry about the weight or the issues with it…

I’ll give Kidding the slight edge today.  I think the marathon distance is his best suit, and with the seconds in the DMR Hcp (GII) and the Hirsch Turf (GI) over this surface, certainly makes him a force.  I like Flaming Hot quite a bit as well.  He won big at CD going the mile and a half distance, then just missed when third in the Bowling Green (GII) at SAR.  Something like that would be very handy in this one.  I also like Kegger… that second in the Sycamore (GIII) was a pleasant surprise, and it will be interesting to see if he can replicate that race.
