7 HOU Connally BC Turf (GIII)

Another race, another winner… almost like we knew what we were doing this weekend. Mo Mentum Farm picks up a nice win as Chagrin Falls bounces back from a poor BC race and runs off to take the Connally BC Turf (GIII) by two lengths (looked like more to me) but this one was really over when the hit the top of the lane… it was just how much the winning margin would be. The final running time was 2:24.51 for the mile and a half, and the HOU turf course was listed as Firm. Sourthern Fame, from the Luz International outfit, closed a late gap to take the second spot, then the placing judges were needed as Night Rider Stables’ Animal house nosed out Maxmillion Farm’s Penal Hockey Party, third and fourth, respectively. Eight lengths covered the field of nine.
