Another race that we miss from a handicapping standpoint, but with a $70.20 winner, I’m guessing a bunch of people missed the Palos Verdes Stakes (GIII).  Night Rider Stables takes the win as Almighwar, dismissed at 34/1 odds, wins a race that was decided by photos… I mean photos, ten photos… how about last, beaten a length?!!?  The 5yo gray gelding, never far from the lead, covered the six panels in 1:08.88 over the SA main oval, listed as Fast.  The final winning margin was a neck, and that was just about the biggest separation in the race.  High Time nosed out his stable mate Be Lucky, both conditioned by Maxmillion Farm, then another neck to the only DH in the race as Mb Stable’s Dorian Gray, and The Sidley Stud ended on even terms for the minor spot.
