Eight set sights on winning the Man O War at Belmont this Saturday. With a talented group of older horses we saw many of the biggest stables run some of their most prized athletes. Mb Stables attempted to win the event two years in a row but failed with Hollywood Freak. Winning was Ashlakani who has earned over $3.500.000 in earnings over an 18 race career. It seems as though Dandy Dan’s investment of $800.000 has paid off big time. Running 2nd was Clocker who stepped up huge after an impressive Optional Claming score in Philly. 3rd was Quickoto who tried to give Nolespan Racing their first Grade 1 win but failed to do it. This race had a little bit of everything from the stories to the excellent showing of racing. Congratulations to Ashkalani and Dandy Dan Stables!
