Angelos Stable takes the win in Sundays NY Stallion Series – Times Square as Scotch N Soda closes from far back to take the win, stopping the clock at 1:15.36 for the six and a half furlongs. That’s four wins from five starts, his first stakes score and a perfect two-for-two vs Gotham bred types since the hostile takeover for just $20.000. The gelded son of Que Niagra – El Gran Lettucerocku, by Lettucerocku certainly knows his way to the winner’s circle – Congrats to the Connections!
South Shore Stables’ Link Wray set the pace through much of this one, but tiring near the wire gets him again, so it’s his fifth second from eleven starts… but certainly nothing to hang the head over. He continues to put money in the bank, and that is always a good thing.
It was a gap of two lengths back to a multi-horse photo for the minor placings… Mb Stables takes the show loot as Misfire out-noses Big Jd Racing’s Thomas Shelby, that one taking the minor money. The main AQU oval was listed as Fast and only four lengths covered the field of eight.
