If you played The Card on top of my picks, you did well… so the rain held off and Gymnast held off the field as the Noblepark owned gelding edged clear late to take Saturdays Peter Pan (GIII) at AQU.  The 3yo cold stayed close to the pace throughout and found a bit more to score his first graded stakes win, and second stakes score in a row, going off at 13/2 odds.  That’s his fourth lifetime win from seven starts and certainly makes himself a horse to watch as we continue through the sophomore stakes. 

Mb Stables knocked down the next two spots as Hazardous set the pace, but could not hold off the eventual winner, to nail down the second-place purse, and his stable mate, Highway Robber made a late run at them but could only take down the show cash.  Another quarter length back, Nakamura Stables go the consolation prize as Sky Rider was a clear fourth.  The final running time for the mile and an eighth was 1:47.94 over the Fast AQU main track.  Eight lengths covered the field of eleven and we had no scratches.
