Some time off worked, and a fresh Reciprocal Rubber returned to form with an impressive half-length victory proving that the mile work prep was just the thing to bring him to the race ready for action. Coming from one of the outer gates, Reciprocal Rubber moved with the leaders from the very start, brought the challenge coming into the stretch, catching the leader approaching wire and drawing off handily and earning entry to both the BC Juvenile and the KY Derby.

2nd      Need Cash Now                 Mb Stables               4.65-1 (HRP) 3-1 (SRF)

Need Cash Now took the lead immediately with a little help from the HRP slingshot, quickly established an open lead which held into the stretch and continued on gamely when collared approaching the wire.

3rd      Up To No Good                Riggins Racing               8.40-1 (HRP) 6-1 (SRF)

Up To No Good trailed the field out of the chute, passed only a couple to the far turn and unleashed a powerful late run through the stretch that came within a half-length of victory.

Puppet Master forced the issue from the start and looked to be weakening coming home but took up the challenge when the final battle began and held on gamely to be only three-quarters out at the wire.
