Never in Doubt for Zero Aggression in WV Breeder’s Classic

WV Breeder’s Classic for WV Breds

$300.000 – Hollywood Casino & Races Charles Town, WV

All eyes, including this handicapper’s, might have been on Boss Spearman as they went post-ward, but all eyes are definitely on Zero Aggression now.

Zero Aggression showed lots of early aggression for Yates Racing and just paraded around the Charles Town course as if he owned the place Saturday night. He made the lead easily and never looked in doubt in front of a packed house.

Hubble from the Mb Stable tried and tried but just could not get closer than a length away. He never gave up and finished second.

Power Grid from The Sidley Stud came in looking for his third straight, but “Aggression” had other plans out on the engine and “Grid” had to settle for a closing third place finish.

Boss Spearman from the John Henry barn caused many bridge jumpers to scream tonight before leaping. The drop to State bred racing looked key for the former triple crown runner, but the entire trip you just knew you were in a world of hurt with “Aggression” out on the lead like a horse possessed while “Boss” sat fourth and never looked real comfortable doing it.

Snip That Thing saddled by Night Rider Stables sat a good pressing trip for three quarters of the race before giving way late and finishing last.

Congrats to the winner. Zero Aggression is a three-year-old colt. Owned, trained and bred by Yates Racing.
