As predicted, Self Love stalked the speed throughout the race into the stretch taking over and drawing off at will. Self Love has now won half his races, arranged his entry into the KYD and is one of the leading horses for that race and did it with a stop in a claiming race along the way.

2nd      Fear Of Walking Dead            Big Guns Stables         8.10 (HRP) 6-1 (SRF)

After that disastrous run in the Pharoah Stakes, this was a pleasant result for Big Guns Stables as Fear Of Walking Dead took the lead out of the gate and held it into the stretch until Self Love took over to the wire but finished well clear of the others.

3rd      Open Invitation                Mb Stables               6.65-1 (HRP) 9-2 (SRF)

Open Invitation made the transition back to dirt smoothly with a nice deep close run that saw him come from tenth to third. He made his move a little too late to catch the front two at the wire.

4th      Bramble Sioux              Greyfriars Stable          43.90 (HRP) 8-1(SRF)

The longest price on the board, Bramble Sioux dueled with the leader through the early panels until becoming a bit wobbly legged turning for home, but soldiered home to hang on for fourth.
