1 Techno Residency The Sidley Stud Ferrer J C 120 —
The son of Techfluence hasn’t run a bad race in five starts, but he hasn’t set the world alight either. A closing seventh not beaten far in the WV Breeders Classic he then ran a fair race without threatening in the Nashua when sixth. He showed he had speed with a win over four and a half at CT so the trip may suit, and the draw should give him an easy rail run. Each way chances.

2 Total Devastation Pan Farms Santos A 120 —
A very easy maiden win was followed by a good third in the Im Smokin Stakes prompting his trainer to give him a go in the grade one Breeders Futurity. Going well back from a wide draw he was never a factor that day so will appreciate this drop back to an ungraded level. His works say he will be very competitive and this great draw will give him every chance.

3 Mariachi Threshold Quinonez A 120 —
A late entry he is hard to assess after a maiden win at FE. Bought for just $1.000 he has already paid back his purchase price so this would be the icing on the cake.

4 Izzys Brindle The Sidley Stud Maldonado G 120 —
Consistent in his sprint races, his one blob came in a route stakes race on an off track so that run is probably best forgotten. He has shown enough to be competitive, and his works are solid making him an easy choice for top three.

5 Strategic Risk Family Racing Morales P 120 —
The stable has been finding their legs this year and this one could well be a good choice. He just scrambled home in a competitive PRX maiden but then ran a cracker in the competitive Golden State Juvenile when a close second, He looks all over a sprinter and should be right on the speed where the race engine likes them to be.

6 Highstrech Williams9 Marquez Ch 120 —
Took a while to find his maiden win but did it nicely last time over this trip. He has improved since being gelded, and I would expect a top four finish at the very least.

7 Meekshallinherit Big Jd Racing Martinez W 122 —
He will fire to the front with the wide gate speed push and if he can clear them early, I would expect a big run. His last win in the mud was pretty game and his work since was a very fast 1.10 and 4 over this trip making him the works choice at the very least. If the race engine works for him, he could win this.

SUMMARY
Not a race full of superstars but there are a few here that look to be improving sprinters, Meekshallinherit from the wide gate will need some favors but he could be the surprise package but if he can’t clear them and gets hung out wide then Strategic Risk could be the one to beat him.
