Another wet day in SoCal and that can and did lead to nice payoffs at the windows.  In the end, Noblepark’s Houseofidentity got back on the right side of things after a pair of poor performances, taking the Las Flores Stakes (GIII) by a neck.  The final running time for the six panels was 1:10.52 over the main SA oval, listed (comically) as Good.  This was her seventh lifetime win, and she now shows earnings of $730.77.  The bay filly has four stakes wins last year, three of those graded, so it’s great to see her showing some of that old form.  Congrats to the connections! 

Ignore Tucker from the Big Guns Stables closed quickly but just couldn’t quite get to the winner, settling for the runner-up spot… something she’s very familiar with.  It was another quarter length to Old Mexico, a Mo Mentum Farm trainee, then the same to Paradise Stable’s Spelkenfelter Twin taking the minor purse money.  Three lengths covered the field of nine and there were no scratches in this race.
