She was game in defeat and kept trying the whole way to secure a second-place finish. Liable from Robeth was in a good striking position but had to settle for third while So Beautiful from Temulac Farm had a similar trip and fate in running fourth. The leaders just weren’t able to be overhauled under the circumstances and dominated the race.
