In only her fourth start and first since breaking her maiden, Shedaresthedevil romped to a two-length victory in the Fourstar. She broke out of the gate midpack and traveled with authority establishing a two-length lead by the time they reached the far turn and carried on in cruise control under a hand ride up to the wire, looking far more experienced than her number of races would indicate

2nd     Used Less                      Maxmillion Farm                  8-1 (HRP) 3-1 (SRF)

Used Less has successfully returned to the dirt with this nice come from behind second in this race. Her last five races were devoted to turf with mostly good results, but this race shows her versatility for future attempts.

3rd     Chicken Queen             Jkk Racing Stables                3-1 (HRP) 3-1 (SRF)

Chicken Queen was well liked by everyone earning second choice by the public and my handicap. As it turned out, she came within a neck of achieving that goal and finished third after forcing the pace throughout.

4th      Devil Z              La Canada Racehorses                  15-1 (HRP) *2-1 (SRF)

Devil Z was my choice to win the race and HRP’s choice to run last. In the end she dead heated for fourth with the tiring Sherbini. Devil Z ran a rather even race to finish on even terms with Sherbini.

4th     Sherbini                D J C Racing Stables                    *4-5 (HRP) 4-1 (SRF)

Odds-on race favourite Sherbini broke on top and led the field down the backstretch where she began to fade. Passed by the three-quarter pole, she continued to weaken to the wire.
