That’s what I said…  The Biogios Rose looked like a one-horse race to me, and a three-length butt whippin’ is what Ghost, owned by The Sidley Stud, handed out to this group of NY-bred fillies and mares.  When the mud settled, she was three lengths clear and proved that 8yo runners are capable of knocking down big wins.  This was her first win of the season, her tenth lifetime victory and she now shows $392.78 in earnings.  Congrats to the connections!

Love Music stayed close to the pace but just couldn’t answer the bell when Ghost went by them all.  Post time favorite Treasure stalked into the lane and looked weary late, two lengths behind the runner up.  It was another length back to Gala Brand in fourth.  The final running time was 1:38², over the muddy main track.  There were no scratches in this race.
