12 LS OB Distaff

The ladies take to the LS turf course as we look at the field of five set to go a flat mile in the OB Distaff. A very nice $200.00 purse for this one and despite a small field, there is some real talent packed into this race.
I landed on Miss Hijinks as the top selection, that one fresh off of a runner-up effort vs. graded foes in the Wilshire (GIII) at SA. She was closing fast in that one and I think she will find this group a bit softer. Speaking of which, if it rains, I’d probably avoid her.
Let’s go to the outside post and put Sizzler in the second spot. She’s won four of her last five, all be it against lesser than these. Still, she certainly has the jets to get in front and stay there and with the smaller field, that’s just where I would expect her to be.
Again, a small but talented group, so let’s see how this one plays out.
