Saratoga Race Course Saratoga Springs, New York
–Devil In High Heels from The Sidley Stud made good use of her rail slot and saved all the ground early, not getting involved in the pace battle, then stormed home to win The Shuvee Stakes as our top pick in the preview and the hot public choice Friday afternoon. She took plenty of action at the windows and now has three seconds and two wins on her 2026 resume. Congrats to the winning connections. Fabulous from Gdp continues to write her own story and has become a hot topic with her second big race in a row off of a more than two and a half year layoff, something you just don’t see often around these parts. Nice conditioning job here by Gdp. Dolphin Bay from TwinTowers Racing backed up her good run in her last start with a solid performance here on the stretch out as she dead-heated for third. Mightiness from Winning Link Stables has the connections breathing just a little easier tonight as she showed some fight today to dead-heat for third in a much better effort than her previous two since the big purchase.
Of The Rest;
Happy Dancer from Nakamura Stables showed positional speed today and then ran in spots between calls and ended up fifth in what can best be described as an average effort.
El Grande Latte from Black n Gold Stable as expected dropped back off the pace and was just unable to produce the big close needed. She has talent but with her style is always dependent on how the race unfolds in front of her.
Inginuity from Mb Stables was sent along as expected but tired soon after the half mile pole and dropped out of contention to finish seventh.
Wavy Girl from Saratoga Stud was unable to overcome the poor post draw and really never looked comfortable on the run at any point today. The well seasoned gal was only able to outrun one foe on the afternoon.
Beautiful Eileen from TwinTowers Racing was unable to break alertly enough and that ended her day in a hurry.
