–Truth Dancer from La Canada Racehorses sat a perfect trip Saturday, off the leader and then moved in to take over in the stretch drive. When the others tried to rally, “Dancer” had a lot left in the tank and opened back up in game fashion for the big win. Congrats to the winning connections and to the betting public who jumped all over this filly, making her the post time favorite. Bare Minimum from Mb Stables was sent along early and ran a solid race, just could not keep going from the winner’s pressure or late surge. She did well to hang on for the silver medal. Threat Sweeper, also from Mb Stables, came from off the pace and visually it looked like the right move until deep stretch when it was apparent that the leaders weren’t going to stop. Allinmentality from Stald Gullis was unable to get the lead from the rail, but ran a game race in finishing fourth in my opinion, as she could have easily shut it off around the turn, but held sway to get the last spot in the superfecta.

Of The Rest;

Campania from Threshold gunned hard and was in the right spot most of the way before tiring and dropping back to fifth place from the pace pressure entering the stretch.

Life Is Complicated from TwinTowers Racing was unable to get involved early on and just circled the oval today in sixth position the whole trip.

Goodbye Dayton from Barcelona Farms broke a touch tardy and never made a move in a puzzling performance. Should look much improved in his next venture.
