7f on Dirt – Purse $100.00 For Three Year Olds And Upward Foaled In LA
Delta Downs Racetrack – Vinton, Louisiana

Louisiana Asset from Big Jd Racing comes off a moon shot in the Woodbine Mile on turf in his last start and that race can be completely tossed out. At seven years old he doesn’t fire every time, but anything close to his best horrifies this small cast. He is also drawn perfectly and can move into contention whenever the rider see’s fit. His two triple digit numbers stand out like a sore thumb as he seeks win number fifteen. Bonus Baby from Night Rider Stables will be in front of the top pick here and that gives him a solid chance for the upset. His best recent effort fits and the trainer understands pace in small fields like this. He is the main competition on paper. Death And Taxes, also from Big Jd Racing is a five year old that won a similar event across town in early May when he went wire-to-wire. He beat Bonus Baby that day, however, he has struggled against open company since. I don’t believe that he will be allowed to coast here in this cast. I do see him eyeballing the bottom of the trifecta, I just don’t see him having enough to overcome the top two picks on this occasion.

Of The Rest;

Go Ask from The Sidley Stud is a three year old who was taken for $10 in his maiden breaker and then immediately put into a similar spot where he finished second and beat fellow three year old French Want Me in the process. This spot is much tougher, but I can’t totally fault anybody taking a positive view of him, I just think this is too much, too soon for him to handle.

French Want Me from T Boy Racing, as mentioned, is a three year old and was already beaten in a similar spot by fellow three year old Go Ask. He should easily be the longest shot on the board and in a small spot like this, most likely, still not at the number needed for any kind of a wagering flyer.
