7f on Dirt – Purse $100.00 For Three Year Olds And Upward Foaled In LA
Delta Downs Racetrack – Vinton, Louisiana

Bonus Baby from Night Rider Stables was our clear second pick and was also the recipient of a perfectly timed ride by Timothy Thornton this afternoon. Thornton opted to sit chilly and let speedster Death and Taxes open up a cushion early, then, at the perfect moment, he pushed the button, overtook the leader and held sway to win. Congrats to the winning connections. Three year old and recent $10 claim Go Ask from The Sidley Stud ran a monster this afternoon in again finishing second against much more seasoned opposition in a state-bred stakes race. This looks to be a smart claim and we should hear from him as he matures. Big favorite Louisiana Asset from Big Jd Racing simply could not overcome the pace today and did not have an answer for the brilliant move of the winner. More than a little surprising that he could not get up for second place against a three year old with only one lifetime win, however it was a horserace as they say.

Of The Rest;

Death And Taxes, also from Big Jd Racing opened up and then when the eventual winner took over he had no more to give. Look for him to possibly drop and pop in his next.

French Want Me from T Boy Racing was easily the longest price on the board and was unfortunately never able to mount a rally this afternoon.
